go to hospital or clinic care or whatever you have locally.
needs medical attention if still bugging you.

does motorcycle owner have insurance? that should cover you.

If I had health insurance I'd have gone but that's not the case. As with all my injuries I simply have to grin and bare it.

"DH"
My brother burned himself bad -
Space heater -
I saw him limping around, and I asked him - what happened - he showed me.
To tell you the truth - I thought he was going to die from an infection -
or, lose his leg!!
Not kidding!!
Scared the stuffing out of me!

He didn't have health ins. -
so we used a combination of vodka/whiskey, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen
peroxide to deal with it.
(The vodka/whiskey is used, internally, to kill the pain of the rubbing
alcohol)
At least it takes the edge off!!

Keep it clean!!
If you are using antibiotics -
stay away from the internal, alcohol!!
He's OK.
Take care of yourself!!

You should have a bandage on it so that your jeans don't rub it. Double bandaged if need be. Salve on it at virtually all times.

Yeah, what "beenthere" says -
Put some hydrogen peroxide on the bandage -
don't wrap it too tight.
Change the bandage often!
Use some type of bandage that isn't going to stick to the wound.
Watch out for the typical, gauze bandages - they can stick.
Cover it!
"RF"

(Remember - we're not doctors - but, we've seem them on TV!)
Take two aspirin and call in the morning - send a check!!!

If you put rubbing alcohol or peroxide on that I will hear your screams from here. Like Beenthere says, keep it covered. He knows he's beenthere.

Ask your pharmacist for some antibiotic cream or ointment.

I will not raise the topic on how you merkins are getting burned. What a crime that you can't just sashay into the local clinic. In this day and age it should be a non issue for all. OOps I raised the topic

Doc, we have a friend who had a spider bit that wouldn't heal, it was a huge place and looked really bad. She took raw honey and wrapped it up good and in no time it healed up. The honey is naturally antibacterial and is good for infections.

A spider-bite like that - sounds like a "Brown-Recluse" -
they ain't no fun at all!!!
"RF"
Luckily - I ain't allergic to them!!
"DH"s burn does not look good!!
Maybe find a "County" hospital - where even if you don't have ins. - they
might look at it!!
That burn does not look good!!
Notice the inflamation around it!
"RF"
Forgot about that "BigJim" -
however - this is not a "spider bite" it's a burn.

Screams in pain?!?
Well, you can have screams in pain that kill nasty stuff, now, or -
you can wait tell later!

It is trying to heal I'd have to guess as it is like a covered see through scab, but with jeans rubbing on it and my blankets it's being difficult. It doesn't hurt when I'm laying in bed, when I don't have any pressure on my leg, but as soon as I do stand up and apply pressure on my leg it hurts like all hell.

I might try some of that honey, in my whiskey!

Nothing wrong with honey and whiskey -
I prefer "Jim Beam"!
(Got me through a divorce - sort of!!)
Don't knock that suggestion about honey, though!
Apparently, it has anti-bacterial properties!

"BigJim"
They're working on a anti-venom for the "Brown-Recluse" spider -
I've seen pictures of what it does to people -
Very bad stuff!
"RF"

"DH"
It hurts like hadies, because it's trying to heal -
you're stretching it -
stay in a horizontal position -
imbibe whiskey/honey - send us a couple hundred dollars _
take two aspirin.
(Don't call us in the morning!)
Take care of yourself!!

Honey and whiskey also, work for colds.
However - the best remedy is
"Snow-Shoes" -
Blackberry Brandy and Peppermint Schnaps!
(Use at your own discretsion!)
(I can't spell anymore!)

+1
