The strangest mushrooms I have ever seen

It rained, and these popped up in only a couple hours. I walked through the area where they were right before the rain, to bring the BBQ pit out of the weather. I know for sure that these were not there. Once the rain stopped, I was taking the pit back out and there they were. They look like they grew so fast they just tore themselves up coming through the dirt. That, or the rain drops tore them to bits. I honestly don't know. You can see the dirt all over them still.

So, I started walking through the yard looking for more. I found these on the other end of the yard. Don't know how long these have been there.

The strangest mushrooms I have ever seen

10:05 p.m. Police received a call from a woman who said her juvenile granddaughter was at the ski area last week and ran into a person who was selling bags of what she thought were portobello mushrooms dipped in chocolate for $30. Police said the granddaughter further informed her grandmother that giraffes were chasing her down the hill after she ate the mushrooms.

The strangest mushrooms I have ever seen

Saw this article from Natural Sciences referenced a couple days ago. Some of them are beyond intriguing?

Cannot open your flikr link, to copy the URL to search at google images. When you go to https://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi there is a camera icon in the Search bar. Click on that icon, and paste in the URL for the image, or just upload from the folder you have them on, on your computer.

It should pull them up and tell you what they are.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
