Snow!

I was already getting sick and tired of the rain, even though it's been less then 24 hours.

Lo and behold, the rain has stopped! It started snowing maybe 15 minutes ago! This is awesome.

Snow!

I put mine away a couple months ago. I just have a portable unit. Now I have central air. If I'm hot, I just open a couple windows and get the furnace blower going. This central air only works for about 8-10 months of the year, so the portable AC is needed for the other two months.

Snow!

I know you are further north than me, but I actually stopped working on the deck railing yesterday and put winter tires on one of the cars. Guess I'm not crazy!!!!!!

Snow!

Around here, everyone is hoping, praying and waiting for a good snow and snow year after several years of light snows. People get bored and the economy suffers in much of the state without a good snow cover.

Without a good snow cover we have thousands of miles of trails not fully used and many resorts, bars and restaurants that without good snow get hurt - plus people get bored. With a 500,000 people owning cabins a lot of them go to waste for a season without snow. Getting around is not a problem because of the ability to handle the snow both before and after a storm. I might even have a chance to use my 4WD option for the first time in 3 years - no winter tires used.

I might even get to a few "snow-in" or blizzard parties.

Weather is really just a state of mind that can be handled and enjoyed.

I like snow. It keeps the crowds off the golf course.

Agreed. We should talk about "snoo" instead. Ask me about it!

Snow!

It's snowing again! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Let Halloween be over with, so I can start putting the Christmas lights on.

My magnolias stopped blooming about a week ago. Time to get back to summer.
