Should Ohio Be Allowed to Kill a National Groundhog

I am of mixed feelings at this point and I have never been convinced that a death penalty, unless we bring back hangins in the public square for Saturday night entertainment, is a deterrent.

But my brothers and sisters from a neighboring state, OhHiOh?, the one with faulty voting machines, has suggested we arrest, try, convict and fry the sorry furry butt of a groundhog for lying about how long winter would last.

I am tired of it people! It's March 30 and the daytime temp has just creeped up to 50 something but promises to drop down to 30 early again next week. I feel the damned rodent lied to us and I want to see him spitted over a charcoal grill and his fur turned into a winter hat for next year.

I say we hang the little critter for all children to see. If you have a pitchfork, broom or lighted torch please join me. Logowear could help.

I can get us Faux News coverage. They need a bunch of people rushing to Pennsylvania to get ratings up and advertisers back. I can get us on Flush Limbaugh.

Should Ohio Be Allowed to Kill a National Groundhog

I recently saw a facebook post from the groundhog (and you know that everything on there is true). The groundhog was reminding everyone that he is a rodent, not a meteorologist.

Not really his fault, more the powers that be that have manipulated the weather and now lost control of what they have been doing. 70 degrees one day, 30 the next. Really it is too late, too late too get through too people, too late too do anything about it.

seriously, bro? we have satellites in orbit, man has walked on the moon multiple times, we have space stations that many countries contribute to and live in and we have r/c robots on Mars and we're talking about the reliability of a groundhog who above all else has nor ever has had an idea of our dependence on him in spite of our technology? And after all this we're to blame him?

typical human behavior. makes me wish I was a groundhog.

I don't think I could actually shoot one. Or eat it first taking out its "sent" capabilities.

The groundhog family that lived near me on a restoration project seemed nice. They hollowed out a huge space under the foundation though and I had to move them on elsewhere. Actually my personal trapper dealt with the problem.

Ok time for some clarification.

I have not nor will I ever willingly eat a rodent. Not even a somewhat cute one. Conventional meat, if you think about for too long, is really kind of gross enough thank-you.

Punxsutawney Phil, Wiarton Willie and all their friends are all safe, even though they are 100% to blame for the long winter.

Nobody, except Mother Nature, the old hag, can manipulate the weather. And it is not to late, it is never to late.
What is 'it' anyway.. Global warming??

I have eaten Marmot I think, they are out in California. Mostly just air. Not good at all. Weather manipulation is quite common and openly admitted. Take the Olympics in China, the Chinese government openly declared they would be changing the weather to avoid rain. I am afraid creeper is un informed about the weather programs in place It is very simple to seed clouds so it rains. This goes all the way back to the 1950. People want to argue basic science because they do not want to face the truth. It is too late to get through to people.
