A Puppy into the Post office -

Dear lady who carried your 20 lb puppy into the post office:

Do you think because it's not touching the ground it doesn't count? Do you think it's squirming and crying doesn't bother other customers in a crowded public place? You could barely control the poor dog and it was WILDLY unhappy to be held prone against your chest.

You clearly liked the attention you received because of it; because you didn't even notice when it was your turn. And WHAT exactly was your plan when it WAS your turn? Put it on the counter???? You didn't have a leash.

I LOVE DOGS. I have four dogs that I left AT HOME when I went to A CROWDED FEDERAL BUILDING!

Oh, I thought this was going to be about the lady that tried to send her dog to a friend via postal mail.

Forget about charging her with animal cruelty. Put her (the lady in the article) in a box and ship her across the country.

Despite the wisdom of my years I am still constantly astonished by the sheer stupidity of others.

My baby chicks came in the USPS mail. But this is a VERY different thing than a puppy.

1. They could only ship on days where the temperature was going to be warm enough - they had to wait for late spring;
2. They shipped in a specially made container clearly marked LIVE ANIMALS;
3. The shipped at one day old when they still have an internal yolk sac and do not need to eat or drink for 72 hours;

Shucks - you can't even mail wine unless the temperature is high enough.
