Political Forum?

Hi all,

so, is Off Topic the right place to start my grass-roots political campaign or should I just keep my fat mouth shut?

Political Forum?

I guess campaign is not the right word, as I am not interested in any public office. Campaign for policy change would be more appropriate.

We are here to fix houses, not government or society.

Political Forum?

I thought this was an "Open forum" -
As long as we're not "flaming" anybody -
Keeping it "clean" -
What's the problem!
If it's "Off Topic" -
Why does it have to be about "fixing houses"?!?
The rest of this place does a good job of that!!
Maybe one of the "Mods" will step in and give us a degree of -
"clarification"!

I agree with Ross. But I also see the reality of the vast number of opinions that would float in and float out on the airwaves.

A Political room here would be a little ineffective, and ultimately frustrating.

I would suggest going on over to ContractorTalk where they already have a room set up. However, it DOES require a post count of something like 250 posts to participate... another good thing to have in place.

Here is a site that has a Political room.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/

They may not be the open-minded people you're looking for, but they are very vocal.

I think "Nathan" and the "Moderators" can make whatever determination,
is necessary.
(It is "Nathan's" site!)

Yeah as if Nathan does not have enough to do, shagging spam, advertising, and insulting posts. Add a political forum and his work would go up exponentially.

And that brings me to another point.

Why is caffeine not considered a "gateway drug"

Now, stow it gyrene!

I think we need to stay high and tight on what goes on here.

No need to complicate a simple forum IMHO.
