Yeah, it does have a Jabberwocky ring to it. So, who in the 70s would parody the master of parody? Hmmmmmmm........maybe one of the guys from Monty Python?

My first guess would have been Lewis Carroll, but since that's a No...
Second guess would have been Kipling, but the 70's doesn't fit.

For some reason it sounds kinda British to me.
I remember watching a slew of British comedies on PBS in the 70's.
Is it from one of them?

To reply to the OP. Creeper pretty much summed it up.

I'd say you have to consider the source of the insult. Do you care about that person's opinion?

Maybe that person was just blowing off steam and didn't mean what he/she said.

Or..... it was the nicest thing they could think of at the moment? j/k

DM, I had forgotten about that poem. That was written by Dr. Seuss, right? No, wait. It was written in the 1974 Journal of American Medicine, by Dr. Heeber S. Peeber Frobbing.
