The Perfect Splinter

I barely touched a piece of plywood...ouch
Look - can't see a splinter...but it hurts
So I look under a light.....nothing at 1st ....then I see it
It went between my fingernail & skin....nice
Luckily enough was left to grab it w/tweezers & pull it out

The Perfect Splinter

kind of like a self administered bamboo under the nails torture but on a small scale.

Now you know why the bamboo under the nails torture was so effective.

The Perfect Splinter

Under the fingernail sounds painful. I got one on the heel from a Jersey boardwalk once.

Those hurt like . My brother was helping me with a playset a few years back, and I got one under my thunbnail. A week later at work he had a finishing nail shot all the way through his left thumb, on the outside half of the thumbnail. He told me I was "one-upped", and I'll let him have it.
