If you mean the one with cavemen, it was "It's about time".

Two astronauts, Mac (Frank Aletter) and Hector (Jack Mullaney), travel faster than the speed of light, resulting in being sent back in time to prehistoric days. There, they have to adjust to living with a cave family led by Shad (Imogene Coca) and Gronk (Joe E. Ross).

We enjoyed it as kids.

I still say the most fun was the transition to color. In my household, every one of us would get up and walk all the way to the tv set 400 times during a sitcom to tweak the color guns to our preferences. None the less, it was such a big deal as b&w shows, one by one, were offered "in living color."

In addition to tweaking the skin tones of people, we lived under a set of foothills so we saw two of everything as the signal bounced off the hills and hit the rooftop antenna. You had to decide which of the two images you wanted to color correct. An antenna rotor helped somewhat but darn if you didn't have to get up off the sofa to work those controls too!

Where we lived at the time, Northern California, they still canned lots of tomatoes and orchard fruits and the discharge of the fumes to the air had lots of acids. They created all sorts of havoc with the tuner so a few times per year a TV repair person would come and clean the gold contacts and realign the tuner. He would dgouse the color cathode tube too!

It is no wonder we played outside a lot in those days. Watching television was hard work! Remember when televisions with remotes were rather a big deal? And they did work local garage doors and other devices in the same frequency range?

And just think how much better television has gotten quality wise. Sitcoms are no longer an insult to basic intelligence. For example, you really have to work your brain to figure out the real title for "The B$^%h in Apt 23!?" And the dialog is beyond brilliant. News programming is unbridled by fact checking so you have time to think about the hamster hairstyle feature on the Today Show as it applies to you and isn't it fun to get sloshed with Kathy Lee at 9 in the morning?
