Notre Dame/USC

Tonight's the night. As a Notre Dame fan I'm psyched about their season so far, and really psyched about the game tonight. Who else is on the Notre Dame bus out there?

Prediction........ND 45 USC 35

Gotta go with the regional fave and ND has had an amazing season! Even though USC comes from the land of fruits and nuts where all males are girly men who order drinks with umbrellas or complicated fififoofoo coffee drinks, I think they will put up a fight. I haven't looked at the odds makers' spreads but I bet it will be a squeaker.

Not a Notre Dame fan but find myself pulling for them tonight. It just hasn't been a good season to be ranked #1........i.e. Alabama, K-State, etc.

I'd like to see ND win.
Too close to call!

Those are 2 schools that many people want to see lose, except for the alumni and close fans. The alumni and fans for both is very close and strong and will do whatever is possible for fellow alumni or students trying to get jobs. Both are very strict in policies/academics and many do not like the student atheletes they produce.

I went to USC for evening classes (graduate level) for two years and the regular students frequently had no choice but to go evenings for the good classes since the good instructors were working days in industry. The night school students for good majors were greater than the day school enrollment.

Later, one of my best friends in construction got preferred tickets since his roomate became president or something. When I found out the games was USC playing in South Bend, it became interesting.

The strange thing was that everyone on both sides cheered for any good play even if they wanted their team to win. that was very refreshing and a contrast to "kill" the other team.

I still wish the "Irish" would wear green more often. The elite are always the targets for "muck rakers" in the programs that want to be equal in many ways beyond a win-lose on the field.

Kiffin's an idot, running the same play on 2 series of 1st and goal and getting stuffed!

Far from a ND or a USC fan.
