Not TOO Desperately Seeking Susan

i have an old room-mate i'd love to find and just simply find out how her life has been since i last saw her. i have her full maiden name and a vanity licence 'keyword' i could possibly use to track her down.... any suggestions how to find her for FREE? i don't want to use netdetective and pay $20.00 and find out that she's not the right one or whatever. last i heard, she married a friend of mine i worked with, but then we lost touch.
any ideas? her name is common, so when i search, i find many, many of them, so i'm thinking the licence plate will do it.

DM - savvy enough to be a site moderator. Not savvy enough to be on Facebook? (wink)

I'd start by Googling her. My real identity shows up as the third hit if you Google my full name. Add extra details and I'm the first hit.

Then, bite the bullet, and get on Facebook. Chances are you will find her EZ as pie.

In these days of identity theft you may find it harder and harder to track someone down...I too can be googled, a reference from a job I got back in college????

Do you know a cop, a fed or someone at DMV? If they can trust you not to rat them out(big trouble if the person does not want to be found), that would be the route to go. I used to look up old friends when I had aceess to NCIC, logged in as practice. good luck!!
