Not in a good mood.

Today I'm not feeling so sorry for said asshat. He can kiss my grits where the sun don't shine and like it.

Some more good news, he is avoiding me. I've called and called both him and his wife over the past three days and no one has returned my calls. Today is supposed to be pay day and he does at the very least owe me my last week's pay.

This put me into such a mental twist that yesterday evening, right as I was about to put food on my plate for Thanksgiving and in front of a house full of guests I had a seizure. I woke up sitting on the dining room floor surrounded by ambulance medics, a bitten and sore tongue and an aching back.

I just can't believe this guy. His words to me when me hired me were, "Just don't steal from me." And I never have albeit there has been many times I've been offered side work that I've turned down to make sure the company makes money and then he returns the favor by stealing from me.

I called the police, nothing they can do as this is a civil matter. All I was really wanting was his address, I don't know where he lives, but they can't give me his address.

Whats the company name? There's "someone" might be able to get that address for you.

It sounds like the stress has gotten to you. Stress can kill you. Do not let this guy win. Relax and concentrate on the future.

I was first diagnosed with epilepsy after my first grand mal siezure at the age of 15. I was supposed to grow out of it, haven't taken any meds for years and years without any problems but when I get relly stressed out it happens. This one, 20 years after my initial diagnosis, really banged me up good.

I have his address, I called 411 information and got it. I knew where he lived next to the old office but he's since moved further out, leaving that rental house and moving in to his own property about 100 miles up north from me.

The thing is rent is due in a few days and I need that money so I might be making the drive.

"Doc Holliday"

The past 35+ years, I've been self-employed (On and off: - sub-contractor, sometimes)

One thing I didn't like was collecting money.
The way I thought was - do the work: everything is fine - pay me/us!
The customer loves it!
What's the problem?!
I never liked "beating the bushes" - catching someone "unawares" - and, threatening them.
(And, I don't mean with lawyers!)
Most of the time it worked (they knew my reputation!).
Resorting to those measures, to get paid for things/work you've done and
getting (how you say this, your language? - blown-off!) - no fun!
I DID NOT LIKE IT!!

I hope and wish that this person, who you're dealing with , does something
close to the "right thing"!

Anyway - Happy Holidays! "Doc"!

Happy Holidays to you as well and everyone reading this.

He just called me and he was not happy. His words were something along the lines of," I know you're unhappy but me and my wife have been in jail for the past three days. I don't appreciate your leaving messeges, threatening me. I put your f-ing check in the mail, don't ever talk to me again..(something explicit)."

At that point I flipped out and he heard a side of me that he was unaware existed. I can be real threatening and overwhelming when I get hot, told him the only thing stopping me from ripping his jugular vien from in his old hillbilly, lying, cheating, sorry ass throat was the fact that he's old and disabled, that I didn't care for his excuses nor do I appreciate them and then I hung up on him.

Damn, sometimes I just get too hot and say things, never good.

Anyways, that's what he said and that's how the conversation ended. I actually cooled off a bit, waited for a few minutes and called him back but he didn't answer. I left a messege saying that I'm sorry if I jumped the gun with the messeges and how I certainly felt like he was decieveing me (and he still very well may be) but someone, such his adult children who also work for the company, could've called and let me know.

I also said that was done is done and I just wanted to make certain he had my correct address and see how he came to the financial number he came up with, of which I don't know what he came up with. I did as well apologize for my actions but wasn't going to kiss his azz over any of it, he still lied to my face concerning those furnaces.

I don't really believe that he was jail although I could see it as his wife and he are not the highest quality folk and have a history of severe marital problems including drinking, but I don't want to work with or for this guy any longer.

It's too bad it came to this but I know I have another job starting this next week with the company that my current ex-boss (who all this thread is about, his name is listed above in a previous post) left to start his own business many years ago beginning this Tuesday. Myself and the new boss to be spoke for about 45 minutes earlier today.

Went well. I asked if I can go straight to work after my interview (which was previously set up for Tuesday morning) and he yes, he wants me to.

One door closes as another one opens.

Yup yup. This guy is really business savvy and runs a tight ship. That being said his lead tech last week, during what is considered Houston's slow season, brought home $3400 in one week.

On the phone earlier we went over the basics of total cost minus labor minus 5% for shop earnings divided by two, half being mine and overhead and whatnot, the basics of what I can expect to make and where all the money comes from and goes to per type of call or sale.

This is my opportunity for me to learn the business side on a whole entirely different level, the next level, and to make some serious money in the process.

I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks all.

It sounds like it could've been but the siezure left me in bad shape. My back is completely tore up, I can hardly stand.

I might be screwed.

I guess I had not one but two consecutive siezures. Originally I fell over onto a lady, bumping her from behind and pushing her into the counter, and then hit the floor and began convulsing for a few minutes, stopped for a few seconds and then started again. Apparently the entire sharade lasted for a near five minutes.

I bit my tongue on both the left and right edges and I'm not sure wat happened to my back, this has never happened before but it hurts, badly. Once up on my feet I can actually move around with minimal flinching but sitting down, getting up and turning over in bed produce extruciating pain all throughout my lower back. I can only sleep somewhat comfortably on my sides, switching sides being a monumental task in itself. It was last night.

I can't tell if it's just a sprain or worse.
