Some funny stuff on this site
I've been reading thru it for a while now

http://notalwaysright.com/page/125

Quote:
Me: “Thank you for calling ****, this is ****. How may I help you today?”
Customer: “I am seeing ‘Searching For Satellite Signal’ on all of my receivers.”
Me: “Well, usually that is caused by the dish being a little bit out of alignment. Could you go outside and tell me if the dish appears to be moved, or if there’s anything different about it at all?”
Customer: “There are holes everywhere in the dish.”
Me: “Holes?”
Customer: “Yeah, there were a bunch of birds on the dish last night so I shot them off.”
Me: “Well, unfortunately, this would be considered abuse and it will cost you $80 to get a technician over there to replace the dish.”
Customer: “Why? It’s your equipment. I didn’t do anything wrong!”
Me: “Sir, you shot the dish. You ruined it. In all actuality, that dish is yours to keep. If you ever leave us you get to keep the dish, and you also get to keep the dish you shot.”
Customer: “Well, I’m still right!”
Me: “Well, you still have to pay the $80.”
Customer: “What would I use that old dish for anyway? Why can’t you take it?”
Me: “We do not retrieve old dishes due to policy. I hear you could use it as a nice sled, though.”

Thanks Dave.
I am going to have to send in one of the classics from my work (tech support for a supplier). Somebody called in looking for a respirator suggestion. When asked what he wanted to protect himself from, he said he worked in a water treatment plant and wanted to protect himself from Lyme disease. He works with lime in the water treatment process, and wanted protection!
(You just can't make this stuff up!)

I have a ton of stuff I could add to that site
I see some similiar PC experiences
We had a group of sewing ladies who had software prograsm for their sewing machines
One had problems with her PC, she brought it in to be checked out
I told her she had a Virus on the PC causing the problems
"I didn't order any virus"

Also had another one who put the mouse on the floor next to the sewing machine floor button
She was expecting to start/stop the PC using the mouse - same as the "mouse" for the sewing machine

As I read thru the pages I resave the bookmark for the last page I viewed
Or - you can change the "page" number at the end of the link
You can see my link takes you to page 125 (page/125)
