No St. Patrick's Day?

That sounds like a good cause!

In the U.S., there are people saying it's unfair to require people to show their ID when they go to vote.

Seriously, I'm all for burkas if thats how you to choose to live your life, even in North America where its illegal to be beaten for stepping out without a chaperone , but on photo id

St Patrick wasnt even from Ireland. He was born in either Wales or Scotland depending on what 4th century documents you believe.

Just Saying...

Had a nice time and stayed safe & sober - can't really comment on whether or not I'm 'sane'.

I hope everyone else had a nice day!

No St. Patrick's Day?

The following was posted on our City's Annual St. Patty's parade Facebook page:

"Thank you all for coming down to the parade yesterday...we are proud to announce that we set a record...we estimate 40,000 people showed up (around one fifth of Springfield!!!)...we also had enough people to overload the cellphone towers!!
We hope everyone had a great time!!"

Of course, some troll kept posting about the drunks and such. Probably one of those that got kicked out of the bar, or never even was in the city yesterday.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
