Siiigghhh my behind me neighbours decorated today and they have those lights that move to music.....problem is they jacked the sound up and they only have 5 songs. Then they left them on and went to church for 3 hours
There are now 5 songs that I NEVER want to hear again...my ears are still ringing

A Pellet gun or BB Gun to take out the speakers, or use Spray Foam to muffle them. File a noise complaint if anything.

I agree. They can't do that. What crime did you commit to them to deserve such punishment?
I don't really agree with the violence part, but I would ask them ( or write a letter) if the confrontation is too much for you.
Explain, their music is interfering with your rap listening enjoyment and being the nice considerate neighbour you are, you don't want to get into a music volume war with them. (pick something really hard to listen to. Ask Doc for choices if you have difficulty there, he knows lots of crap music

Could be worse. I work at a -ahem- major retailer. They have ONE Christmas CD that they have been playing for the last week - nonstop - over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over...
I asked the assistant manager if I took up a collection if we could buy another one and I think he growled at me.

lol I was contemplating a commando mission at o'dark thirty this morning complete with Barry manilow music, bose 501's cranked and such but tonight they had it on and it was nowhere near as loud so I think they may have had it turned up while they were setting it up.
As far as neighbours though they are okay so can live with the occasional oops.

Good attitude!
Sometimes its best to just learn more tolerance. You never know when you might need that guy to have your back.
Let some other neighbour come off as the grump.

Yeah, I hate when people start a season of joy and celebration early !!!
I could do without the commercial aspect (stores opening on Thanksgiving pisses me off a bit, at least for the employees), but I love the decorations and all that jazz. The music's easy enough to avoid if you don't like it. Who doesn't like festive lights?
