Need thoughts on this Electrician bid

Ok guys!

I need some input on this electrical bid.

I have aluminum wiring in my home which was built in 1975. I moved one week ago in to the place. In that week I've had flickering lights, and a plug go completely dead while not tripping the breaker. (I pulled out the plug and it is screw connected - tight.)

My electrician was friendly and knowledgable. He suggested to pigtail all the outlets coming with a lifetime warranty. They've been in business for a long time, and he provided man references. HE suggested to not rewire the entire house due to cost, and to pigtail the wires. He said the panel could be replaced, but it doesn't have to be.

Total rewire - 5000

Pigtail entire house - 780

install new breaker panel - 600 permit costs included

Install GFCI outlets (3)in kitchen - 125

Bring fire detectors up to city code - 245

Any input on the previous items. MY panel doesnt have a main cutoff switch, and only has room for 4 more additional circuits, so Im thinking of replacing that.

He is a master electrician BTW
