Mystery of the One-eared Cow
If you look at the eye on this cow, it is slanted wrong. The left corner (from our point of view) is slanted down too far. Tilt the picture so that the gleam in the cow's eye is on top of the eye ball. When you do that, the eye looks more natural and that makes the top of the cows head now look like the side of another animals head or body.
Could it be a bunny rabbit? And the 'horn' is actually the space between the bunny's ears. But I'm not seeing what the 'cow's neck' would be.

Mystery of the One-eared Cow
An elderly couple was attending Mass. About halfway through, the wife leans over and says to her husband, 'I just let out a silent fart; what do you think I should do?
He replies, 'Put a new battery in your hearing aid.'

Mystery of the One-eared Cow
Okay, okay I see it now. Do you think the artist did that on purpose? Like the disgruntled Disney artist who drew a body part into the castle on the cover of the Little Mermaid video (on Snopes.com). Or, you just have a very active imagination to be able to see that from looking at a cow's head and neck..... . I guess it was a 'waist' of time thinking about the ear.
p.s. you really can see a rabbit sitting on a stump if you look at the cow sideways .
Now, back to the first riddle.....

Mystery of the One-eared Cow
Maybe the cow has only one ear because the illustrator didn't know how to draw the ear on the left? Or the cow used as a model only had one ear? Is there really an answer to this question?
Well, I've looked at it that way and I really don't think that was done on purpose. I can kind of see what you're talking about, but it's a bit of a stretch.

Mystery of the One-eared Cow
DangerMouse:
I can stare at that darn picture right side up, upside down, tilted one way and the other, and I still can't "see" anything other than a cow's head.
If there's some other image in the picture, it certainly isn't apparant. Or, at least not in the first month of staring.
Trying to "see" something hidden in this image is not far removed from staring at a blank wall.

Mystery of the One-eared Cow
Nestor , I'm thinking you might know about the Land of Lakes Dairy Indian Princess from Minnesota. Have you seen her on butter packages up your way ? There is something subliminal about her. If you know that you're on the right trail. If not, well you've got 4 more months of winter to look.
That is some kinda very rare cow! Didn't have any one ear cows like that where I grew up and I've see n a lot of cows!

Nope, that's probably a local dairy. Here in Winnipeg we get the Safeway brand (Beatrice) and the Supervalue brand (Foremost, I think) as well as Parmalat.
I know the Whiteshell area in south eastern Manitoba is called the "Land of Lakes", but I've never heard of a dairy by that name.
