My Feet Hurt

I love doing my own projects around the house, but it seems that no matter what I do, the longer I'm on my feet the more my feet hurt. Sometimes I get the worst foot pain that you can imagine. Someone told me that I may have flat feet. Whats that about? Does anyone else have this kind of trouble? What can you do about it?

You do not have teenage feet anymore. You are getting old. If my feet were the only thing that hurt I would be happy.

My Feet Hurt

I have plantar fasciitis and one thing that sometimes sets it off is squatting without being warmed out. Also, I've gotten up in the middle of the night and leaned over and lifted my fan with the weight on my toes and in the morning my bad foot hurt.

Use Behr, it cures this and most anything else.

don't know the validity of this but a professor friend just mentioned wearing 'crocs' cures that.

Isn't this a painting advice forum, not a medical problem forum? Might be in the wrong place there buddy...

Yeah, he joined this forum to ask that instead of a health related forum. I'm thinking he'll post again to sell a shoe that he claims helped. But if he's for real, I recommend footpads. Take out your insole and replace it with a better one. A big medical supply store near me sells expensive ones that are better the drug store ones for about $40. You'll spend about $15-$20 for decent drugstore footpads. I also have Crocs Duet Scutes. They're thicker and more padded than other sandles I've seen, but the Duet Scutes are backless so you'd need a different kind for work (but for heavy work like climbing ladders, lifting, etc., don't wear sandals). Crocs also wont rub black off on your feet or socks.

I smell something fishy...

Really woody. One does not just acquire flat feet. You surely wood (punny) have known it all along. You only need to look at your foot to tell.

Just in case anybody legitimate wants to know,. If you have cramps in your feet, like you may get from swimming, a banana is the cure.
Always have a banana before swimming and a glass of milk for recovery from your workout.

Or before painting

Sore ankles? Sorry, there is no cure for that. You must give up painting altogether

Nothing but crazies on the health related forums. This is the place where the answers are. Anyone care to talk about chaffing.

I prefer Body Glide. It's the most popular and I think the ingredients are a little safer than the others anti-chafe products. Good athletic boxer briefs help too.

I have a two part epoxy that's almost full but it was opened about 15 years ago. Is it still good? I think I read that the shelf life is about a year.

This must stop---I have dinner just about ready--now I need to get that picture out of my mind before eating---

As a punishment---write 100 times--I will not discuss gross stuff at dinner time.---
