Men Have Feelings Too....

Men do have feelings....

For instance, sometimes we feel hungry.

Men Have Feelings Too....

Men do cry and it is good we can admit it. I remember losing it when I busted a socket wrench handle once. Bad timing. Just kidding.

I do remember Dr. Fluffy cleaning out my closet! All three extra pair of shoes went (overflow from the Amelda Marcus collection she had soon filled the void of course). Granted the Sperry Topsiders were duct taped but they fit so well and had lasted 20 years? Why the need to toss them? I trusted those shoes like no others.

All the ties and Hawaiin shirts I would never wear in the first place but could say I owned got tossed. She tried to dress me in Manhattan black and even hid hangers in case I flew home in a polo shirt in a color she did not like.

And then I really felt pain when she made me shoe shop with her! Drill my teeth or do root canals without novacaine before ever making me shoe shop with a woman again. I am sure shoe shopping, and finding matching handbags, is a deep spiritual experience for women but I need be no part of it all, ever again.

Gentelmen let us get our feeling out.

And of course I have felt deepest anxiety when it comes to women hair and nail issues. There is no winning.

"Do you like my hair?"

"I love it and I think you look gorgeous! But you always do!"

"What is that supposed to mean? I hate the cut and the color! I may never go back there again?"

"How much did you tip him/her this time and did you get a new appointment card?"

"$40 but I promise I will not keep the appointment on the card! Do you really think I look alright?"

This is when male emotions really kick in. Your anxiety level climbs, your palms start sweating, your armpits start gushing because you know you just fell into a trap of your own design.

You wish you could go to your shop or garage and cry over a broken ratchet handle.

Where is Al Bundy when we need him most? I can replicate those No Maam teeshirts easy enough for like $5/cost plus shipping. I would need rights permission though. Easy enough to arrange I suspect. Cost might go up if I have to license though. Up to Fox.

I say we drag Al back to Chicago where the series was supposedly filmed. I say we make No Maam an event where men can gather together and cry over things important with but busty serving wenches handing them beer.

And, I suppose opposites attract.

None of the women in my life could fully functions at say the time I am typing this.

Just once, I would love to find some other half of my species that was gorgeous, by her own standards, and able to get up in the morning.

This does trigger male emotions in me. I find women that only come alive at around 11am or later on weekends totally worthless. Those that finally show signs of life at 2PM and then expect me to go dancing with them into the wee hours?

Remember this scene from "Gonna Get You Sucka"

Is male giggling considered feeling?

Brother man you reached out to your silent crying brothers.

Music played a part in things for me.

Louis Jordan's "I like em fat like that" is not the music you want in the background on a bad hair or nail day. Of course you meant to be listening to something else and as you dive for the remote mute the sound system... It still plays
