We like the white stuff too....but prefer to visit it on my terms.....Wrightwood or Big Bear is only about 1 1/2 hours away....

It's the same every year....kids want to go play in it...so we go up there....45 min later we get the "I'm cold, I want to go home".....takes care of that until next year....

I do miss real mountains. We don't have them because they would block the view. That was one thing nice about California but Tahoe and the slopes were hours from me. And it all got so expensive and crazy that if you went skiing, you were lucky to get up for a run a couple times in a day. Then you had to dodge the hot doggers on slopes way beyond their skill levels.

The snow came just in time for the annual evening Santa Claus parade. Complete with the Town Crier and a guy on a old fashioned bike.

The seniors, in their clown costumes, who represent the Shriners, zip around on their mini bikes and lawn tractors. I'm always nervous one of them is going to wipe out.

The street is littered with candy canes from little elves with bad aim. Sometimes thy'd stop and hand it to you, sometimes they just threw handfuls..little bugge..I mean darlin's

What's up with all the references to Christmas songs?!?
"Jingle Bells" -
"White Christmas" -
"Silver Bells" -
Huh?

You people scared of a little snow?!?
What's the big deal???
Driving - shoveling - slipping and sliding around?!?
So what?!

Here's "creeper" - complaining about a "little", snow!!
This from the person who is putting a frozen, pond in their backyard!
Also - creeper equals "Zamboni"!!
"creeper" likes shoveling!!
("creeper" the "Zamboni"!!)
It does have an interesting "ring" to it!?!
He, he, he!!

"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow"!!!

Did you actually listen to the Pogues in its entirety?

Creeper does not like shoveling.
Creeper has a monster snowblower. A Toro. "If you have anger at your neighbour, let them have their own snowstorm" I joke

Creeper likes curling up like a pussycat with a book, but good luck with that luxury. So Creeper goes skating and tobogganing and makes snowmen.

70' x 30' x 10" at one end of frozen fun. When that sucker thaws in April my neighbour won't think its so fun when it drains into his yard. I better make sure he's away that day.
