Love Potion #9

This is the jest of the drive system. Then you have the deck carraige to build. The motors are 230 volt. Notice they are cord and plug.... They are generally remote controlled.

Honkheartbreakerbonk,

Would that be the diameter?

Andy...still in the fan club.

Stubbie,

So the key is building the base as big as the bed...perfectly round and stable, no matter the sleeping arrangements. Fascinating stuff.

Thank you for your time! Andy

Love Potion #9

Andy,

While I have no doubts that you could actually put this together for me, I gotta' tell you that it's just not in my budget. Unless, of course, you're going to build it, back it up to my door, haul it in, and only charge me the gas money it cost to get here... If that were the case, I just might put you in the second bedroom. I found some neat stuff looking up round bed info, though. There was a "floating" one, hung from the ceiling that caught my eye...

And let's get the "heartbreaker" thing cleared up... Stubbie is a gentleman, and long ago mentioned that he was leaving the 'honky-tonkin' to you... A drink means a drink, unlike your cheesecake meaning a cheesecake. If you lived as close to me as Stubbie does, don't you think you would have been invited along??

How 'bout helping me build a light box for an old beer light? All I've got is the colored picture insert and the two flame-looking bulb light fixtures that go on either side of it (need new wires, they've been cut). The originial box got busted moving down here from up north. I'll get some dimensions, you be thinking of an easy but cool looking set up for me. Come on, pal... Ya' with me?

Hey, Stubbie!

Give me a little more info here, where in Minnesota are you going?? I might be, too. Maybe we could car-pool!!

Andy,

So sorry, couldn't help myself. I am so messing with ya', and am laughing my butt off writing this. Confidence used to be high, remember? Think light box... or bed delivery... Your choice.

Stubbie,

'Ya like that one? Seriously, though, what part of the state? I might be going way up there...

Thanks,
Honker

Love Potion #9

Going to Minneapolis...driving right by the bridge that fell a while back. Falcon Heights to be exact. My wife and I are going up to spend the Holidays with our son.

Car Pool ? Well that's fine with me but I'm wondering what to tell the wife.

Lets see..."Honey, I have been having this conversation on the electrical chat forum with this gal from Southern, Missouri who would like me to build her a rotating round bed and/or buy me a drink next time I'm down her way... ohh yeah and BTW... she wants to know if she can hitch a ride with us to Minnesota when we go up for the holidays ".

Or..."Hey guess what honey? , you don't have to go to Minnesota after all I met this sweet heart of a girl on the electrical forum who says she will ride up with me... what ya think?... she and I could share the gas cost and everything...errrr...I mean we could split the gas...... "

Oh and BTW I have always understood what you meant by "buying me a drink"....... as for the guy in Atlanta I wouldn't go over one beer and then I would make sure I was on his tab for the rest of the night...

Love Potion #9

This is great. Stubbie, My fabrication team is in ATL...Not MO. I was thinking I want one for my pimp bachelor 70's Show pad. Honker mentioned bed delivery or fixing a beer light. I've went from crappy hotel to better hotel to the second bedroom. I feel like if I play hard to get, I could possibly be bumped up again. It's like playing Vegas. Any one want to give me odds?

I think it would be wonderful if Honker and Stubbie met for a drink or traveled to the great white North together. I have a feeling Stubbie is a very nice guy.

The floating bed concerns me. Honker may or may not weigh 400Lbs.
I'm 6'0" and a chubby 210.
Andy the guy singing Kenny Rogers in his head

Hey Stubbie, thanks for drawing the bed and motor up. Very cool.

Love Potion #9

Hi, Stubbie!

I might be headed to Duluth, just a quick hop (compared to the rest of the trip) straight up Hwy 35 from where you're stopping. Do you ever go ice fishing up there? Car pool or not, this time or next, I'm expecting you to take me up on the drink. Bring your wife along - you're a cool guy, she must be a cool lady. But if you find yourself here without her, I wouldn't recommend you mention that a "sweet heart of a girl" who's "pussycat" status is in question will be buying you a round... Thanks for being nice.

Andy, Andy, Andy... Man, even though I was wondering if you were gonna' get me back you just threw me with your last post. You were all sad acting before, said you have a crush but didn't get asked out, (you even put in the sad face and said "Golly."), say you're crushed like a wine grape, slowly recovering... Ya' make me feel bad and kiss up, and even admit I just might have offered you the second bedroom in exchange for a bed frame delivery...... And wham, just like that you're completely recovered, wanting to play hard to get, and I'm back to possibly being a 400 pound craps table. You are a slick one... And a bit of a puzzle. Clever how you threw in a personal description, but I'm wondering now if it's just a little too early to be exchanging that kind of info...

Are ya' gonna' give me a hand with putting together a light box, or are you too busy taking bets? Maybe I was asking for it, my sassy might have been turned on just a little bit a few posts back...

Thanks,
Honk

Honkaburninglove Bonk,

5'6" huh? That is the perfect height for one of my favourite things to do. Wanna guess?

I'm just pulling your (strikingly beautiful ) leg a little Honk. I'm no master carpenter, however, and you will have to be supervisor. Would you seek advice from the carpenter DIY room and perhaps find another boy? I WOULD be crushed then. Could we put the round bed in the second bedroom so I could sleep in it? I've never slept in a round bed. I think it would be sweet.

Andy the president of the Honker fan club. PM me for applications

I bet Stubbies wife is extremely cool.

Love Potion #9

Andy,

Could we put the round bed in the second bedroom? So you can sleep in it? Changed your mind about playing hard to get?

Any suggestions on how I could possibly bring this back around to any kind of electrical question? Andy, what am I supposed to do with this one? You're gonna' get me in trouble...

Honk
Honkadodonk,

The fact that I would be sleeping in the second bedroom is playing hard to get. I would lock the door. Any time at all that you want to steer this ship back to the electrical shore, go right ahead.

Hey, my company Christmas party is tonight. Could you fly out and be my date? Maybe wear something sexy? I'll put you up in the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. Mimosas and a spa treatment for Honker in the morning. What do you say?

Love Potion #9

Andy,

Sorry I couldn't make it last night... I need just a tad bit more notice. The next month is going to be a busy one for me, but come late January or February I'll be looking for a little something to do on the weekends. Could you fly out and be my date? Maybe wear something sexy? I'll put you up in the second bedroom (and feel free to lock the door, I swear I don't have a spare key...). Mimosas and, well, no spa treatment for you, but I give a mean massage, in the morning. What do you say?

jbfan... You're cute, but you're also kinda' naughty, aren't ya'? If the pics you're talking about are of me, you should know the signatures are fakes. I didn't sign any of the ones I sent.....

I love a good party. Will I be invited to this supposed first fan club meeting?

It cost me $150.00 to join.
I feel so cheap.

Of course you can come to the first annual meeting!
