Late update

Overnite, I got an update to a thread I'm subscribed to on here. The update was made on 8-5-2011. And I just now got the e-mail update. What is up with that? Any one else get these 3 months after the fact?

I don't subscribe to threads---sorry--can't help you---

I did once get a letter that had been mailed three years previously---

This happens to me all the time. I am subscribed to more than 1500 threads and occaisionally I will get an email on an old thread but when I open it there has been no recent comments. Another fluke in the software I suppose.

OOH! OOH!! ME! ME! I KNOW!!! I KNOW!!!!

Okay, here's how it happened....... some jerk came in and SPAMMED the old thread, (next time take note of who replied) we caught them, removed the spam, (and usually them too) but you still got notified!
By the time you look at it, the last guy to post is still the last guy to post and it looks to YOU as if nothing has happened.

Mystery solved
