Jack Frost was dancing on my lawn last night

Crap!! First Frost this morning. The roofs look whitish, the grass too. @#$%^& Its too early to tell how hard of a hit the flowers took, but I'm guessing their finished.

I don't know why after 49 Canadian winters I'm still shocked when summers over

You have my sympathies. Any way you can keep that cold up there for a couple more months?

Yeah, the early mornings have dipped down into the high 60's here.

I left the truck outside a couple of nights ago, and came out the next morning to find the windows and mrrors completely frosted over. But, I didn't need any tools that day, so did the only rational thing that came to mind; grabbed the other set of keys, flipped the top down, and headed out in the 'vette. Nothing like a frosty cool air on the bald ol' noggin to make one appreciate the waning number of warm days that are left in the season!

Had fog on the river and the frost did not touch us, yet.
Got the fire truck winterized and stored away. Just hope no fires, won't look good spraying green water.

creeper -

We are similar with too much warm weather, but now we may be getting back to "normal". - The kids playing footbal do not like the unseasonable but, but the hockey player can always reserve an early time get some arena and get some ice time in before school, even though they have been skating all summer. They are just waiting for real outside ice.

It is getting boring with no real weather for a long time.

You can't change the weather, but you can learn to enjoy it. We haven't had bit of snow within 200 miles, so the economy will be suffering a bit soon.

Our ski hills usually are not ready until after Christmas, but thats where we differ Dick. I am in no rush for the cold. You can just keep it over on your side of lake Superiour. Mind you, I might just attempt a back yard rink this season. It may make winter a little more bearable
