It's Fall!!

The sun is up and I just noticed a couple of trees across the
street have changed color and the ground under them is covered
in fallen leaves.
(This happened overnight)
Here we go again!
I like Fall - however: after working outside the last 30 to 35 Winters -
not really looking forward to what's coming!

Let me be the first to wish all of you -
Happy Bleepin' Holidays!

(On the bright side - replaced all the old, heaved, cracked sidewalks -
makes snow removal a lot easier)

It's Fall!!

What you should have done is run an underfloor heating system under your sidewalk - be the envy and set a trend

*Donates a snowless mild winter* - occasionally we get ice storms but real snow is very rare.

Actually, I'm a life-long Northerner. I really don't mind the cold & snow. I've got an old Jeep, a JD Snowblower, good coffee, tons of books to read, and a fireplace. What more could a guy need?

I am from the north as well. I lived in Pa (Go Steelers! - ugh, doesn't look good this year...) for 20yrs, then moved to NY for another 2 and lived in Md for another 10.

I like snow, but I don't. I get all excited when it falls, it's just that it stays around. I also love the fact that my cars last forever here. My truck is 26 yrs old with no rust, my daily is 19 yrs old with no rust. I get attached to vehicles, so maybe I have an attachment disorder. I always felt like I was losing a member of the family when they started to disintegrate from rust.

I have to say that I am glad to see that. Lions fans have suffered a long time similar to Cleveland and Cincinnati fans.

It seems their success is tied to the auto industry.

No kiddin' I'm just north of Snav across the state line. This is a state highway! driving to work the morning after a snow.
That, and it seems to bring all the idiots out to drive. Locals don't have a clue how to drive on the stuff.

No kidding about the idiots out on the roads after a snow storm. I try to avoid towns right after the first snow fall because of all the wrecks.
