Haven't decided on it yet. I still have an iPhone 4 which is bottom of the food chain age-wise. But I've heard/read that it's supposed to be good.

It supports the 4 it's a big change but worth it

Alright...just did it. Wow. So far I'm liking it. Not noticing any lag issues either.

Make sure that you turn off Background updating. It will eat up battery life, like no tomorrow.

True! If your connected to wifi and don't have your iphone plugged in your apps will automatically will update and drain battery life.

Even if you are on WiFi, it will drain your battery life, due to background updating is both Cellular & Wifi.

That was a concern of mine since after I updated to iOS 6 I noticed a big hit on battery life. Over the last few days I've noticed that my battery life is significantly better than it was. I know it's not just my imagination cuz I've been playing with the thing way more than usual. Ha!

I will definitely turn that setting to 'off' though. I'm not a big fan of auto-updating. Thanks for heads up...I know I had read about that 'feature' at one point but it slipped my mind.

There is also the feature to auto-update apps, which you may want to turn off, if it is on. It is going to be a play around to figure out how to get the best battery life out there.

UC Berkeley came up with the Carat app, to help figure out battery drain. http://osxdaily.com/2012/06/15/find-...fe-with-carat/

TBH- No, I was happy with the old one :(

First it was DIYChatroom changes- now IOS 7......
I suppose I might as well upgrade my PC to windows 8 and I'll be batting a 1000 :furious:

Nope. Still use a Motorola flip phone that I got for free. I pay $10.99 a month. Free nights and weekends. Works great. Toss it right in my nail apron while working. Speaker phone is loud and clear.

Wife has update says it sucks. Now you have to have password every time you open it. Where she works a lot of them have iPhones not one likes the upgrade. Most say they lost more than they gained.

This can be disabled.

I found the upgrade benign...neither good nor bad...not even sure I would classify it as an "upgrade". Perhaps the new notification screen, and the new settings screen is something that is an improvement.

My wife, on the other hand, would go back to 6.X if she could. She finds the new graphics and icons to be harder to see, and has yet to notice any benefit.

She does not need the PIN lock, if she does not want it. It was done as a part of "Find my phone". I just passed that section when I set mine, and my wifes iOS devices up.

You have to slow down when reading instructions, not just fly through them, otherwise, you get above.
