Invisible Dog Fence

have installed an invisible dog fence. It asks for me to also run a wire from the receiver to the outside to ground it.... Can I just ground it to a metal object in the house?

How can you tell when the invisible dog gets out of the fence?

The wire is an antenna--It must be a continuous loop --from the transmitter--around the property and back to the transmitter.

The inside ground wire can be clamped to any grounded pipe or conduit.

As to invisible dogs---Just get them barking and you will know if they are still in the yard or not.

That always works for mine.
