Mike, download Ubuntu 12.04LTS and use it. I have it on my netbook and love it. I still have Windows 7 for it, but got tired of dealing with Windows being a hog, and that damn A/V software you have to run for Windows.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?

Hey Jan, no I have been checking in briefly, I have been trying to get the shop cleaned and straightened up, it is a total mess to say the least and I am slower than molasses in February.

Good to see you're back on line!
Let us know what you think about Windows 7!!!
We're thinking about upgrading to "7".

rossfingal

(Hey - how come I get last-placed, "billing" in the list of "special thanks"!!?? -
don't you remember, a long time ago - I advised you "safe computer" - don't go on the
Internet - don't turn it on!!)
He, he, he!

Jan, I forgot about the Habanero pepper, it was pretty hot but nowhere as hot as I thought it would be, I ate the whole pepper, I think I got a wimp pepper. I did dread the next day but no problem there either, probably the next one will light my lamp.

Rossi, I have fooled with 7 quite a bit and it is good compared to Vista, Vista is garbage to me. Once a person gets use to 7 it will be fine. I found it was a little hard to find some things like on the control panel and a couple of other places. Hopefully 8 will be better, they should come out with an XP Pro Classic, it would sell like hot cakes.

Well -
--M--
Since your "considerations" have not been forth coming!
(I thought the agreement was - "cash" - non-sequential, numbered,
bills - "My size is "100" - my color is "green"!)

I'll have to divulge the real reason for your absence -
computer problems!?!!!
Hah!
How were the drinks and the palatial, sandy beaches down in the
Carribbean!?! (SP?)
(Any excuse to get away from this place!)

(I hope you do have a "twinge" of guilt - for leaving "DM" and the rest of
the "Mods", here - to deal with us!!)

Cordially yours:
"RF"

(Serious? - Serious?!! - You can't handle "Serious!!!)
