Do you have a drawing of what you are wanting to do? You could use epoxy to mount the copper on the pvc.

Yes I do have a very basic drawing, is there a specific type of epoxy I should use? And will the epoxy be durable enough for large amounts of use?

Epoxy should work. You still will need to do some minor maintenance to keep it looking good. may want to look at some of the Steampunk forums, since they do stuff like this a lot for their characters.

Now, that is something that I would like to see. The largest was a potato gun. What would be cool, is if you could design one that is a working Phalanx style gun. Would work great to stop speeders.
