How to tell you have an ant problem

Step 1 - when your friend's four year old spills his entire cup of real lemonade on the dining room floor don't clean it up right away because a) you don't want to make a big deal about it in front of your friends to show them that just because you don't have kids doesn't mean you are uptight about spills and b) because you're a little buzzed and mopping the floor seems like a lot of work.

Step 2 - allow to dry and wait 3 hours.

Step 3 - after your guests leave and having forgotten about the whole thing because you went ahead and got good and drunk, walk back into the dining room. When your shoes stick to the floor look down.

If there are ants everywhere: you have an ant problem.

If no ants, no problem.

You are totally right! I go with diet sprite, cause you don't even get a stain with the 'no sticky'. Unfortunately, my friends are the sort that don't give their kids diet soda.

I should have just let them clean it up. Or I should have taught the 4 year old how to mop.

Keep a couple sippy cups on hand and offer them water with ice in it. It's much better for them anyway.

Hmmm. You were drunk - are you sure it was the KIDS who spilled the drink?
