Is Seattle part of the USA? We will send you a bucket of hot air if you will send us a bucket of that wonderful cold air.

A nice 20C today, this is perfect. Still hot, but not too hot. That comes up to 68F.

72F with low humidity at 3:30 PM, but heading for 92F to 97F for a few days with high humidity. Anywhere between 1/4" and 4" of rain for the week-end, depending on the specific location. - the "theater of seasons" is in action again! - Its not that bad if you can adjust because the good is so good and then you just retreat indoors during a change and then adapt.

With the temperature and humidity combined, they say it feels like 105 outside today. I'll have to take their word for it.

This has been an exceptionally nice summer though. *knock on wood*

We are now in the middle of a heat wave WITH humidity also. Much worse than the 103F about 10 days ago, because we got humidity from the 5"-8" of rains in 3 days in that should have gone south. Yesterday, the "heat index" (reverse of wind chill) was so high the local meteoroligists found next highest area somewhere in Brazil (Brasil for the Brasilians). Today it is a little warmer, but only 65% humidity now. - 3 or 4 more days of this and then back to the normal "theater of seasons" withing normal ranges (for us) and about 2 months to the first possible snow.

It is now 96F with a less humidity, so the effect is a heat index of only 111F. Thank goodness, I am not in the heat island (just 15 miles out that makes my temp 92F.) but a few more hours to go.

I'm melting, I'm melting! Ohhh...what a world....

Lucked out with a tiny bit of rain today, mostly it just helped the humidity level.

We've been in 103 to 108 for the last 4 to 5 days and will still be in that range for the next 7 days. Haven't had any rain for 2 weeks!

It is now 96, heading for 100, but the humidity is lower than yesterday when we had a heat index of 120+ because of 96F and 83% humidity because of a 1-2" rain in the morning. About 110 heat index now.

A recent TV weatherman had a chart showing that our weather in the "theater of seasons" is much more consistant in the summer than the winter. In the summer (June-Sept) the difference between the record daily highs and lows is between 60F and 69F. - not too bad. In the winter (Dec - March), the difference between daily record highs and lows is between 90F and 108F. I guess that explains the number of meteorologist at the TV stations.

4 am and 84 degrees.

How cold did it get at your place last night?

They say a cold front is moving in, highs will only get up to 100 today with some rain showers. That will be refreshing.
