It's 96 @ 6:45 now (Thur.) with cloudy, rumbling skies. I bet we do not get any rain though.

Was +5 today, but it felt more like -20. Freaking cold! Back to the winter coat. I hate this time of year!

I like to think of the old system of degrees F because it magnifies the extremes.

Today at 6:00 PM (CDT) it was 63F with 33% humidity and not a cloud in the sky. - About 10F below normal, but seemed much warmer because of the sun and lack of wind. At least we have the cool northern air keeping the disruptive weather away for a while. A releif after a tornado (F1-F2) caused $160,000,000 in damage and killed about 16. We don't get the big ones but we get a lot of smaller ones that are too quick and surprise everyone in spite of the overload of weather informatiom on TV. - Last year, MN was #1 in number of tornados, but probably due to the high tech weather records and systems. Probably another warning on TV in the next week for a warning 200 miles away dues to the satellite stations.

My window thermometer said 29F at sunrise this morning (NW WI). Frost advisories. Ah, the end of May near Lake Superior.

Did you get any rain?

We got some, and some strong winds.
Nothing like a few weeks ago.

Heh...I don't mind it. The special lady is always cold, even at 80, but I like 50 much better. My shop gets good southern sun all day so it's about 65 in there despite the lack of insulation (for now). I haven't been able to get out on the lake much yet what with the kids finishing school and starting summer sports. Hopefully soon :-)

Was like +20C today, finally a hot day. Was outside pulling weeds from the front lawn. I guess most people just get Weed Man to come because I was getting funny looks. LOL

High of 86F today (30C). Down to 82 with the sun setting and expected 70F (21C) tonight. Perfect night for sitting on the porch and watching the formula 1 race.

Some amazing lightning and thunder here in NW WI this morning. Wow. About 49 degrees. Happy Memorial Day, and thank you to all who serve, past & present.

High of 96 today (35C). Hopefully we'll get some thunderstorms and rain this afternoon. It's already 83 degrees. But the un-airconditioned parts of my house is still at 79 (26C)

Here's to 200 year old building practices ~ the original 'Green' houses.

Better get your AC fixed or install AC to the parts of the house that don't have it.

It's high 90's this week, with little chance of rain. It hasn't hardly rained in the last 5 weeks.
