Today is the first day of HHH (hot, humid, and hazy). Thankfully, our 200 year old farm house is holding onto the cool - brick masonry walls = slow thermal inertia. So, blinds shut on the sun side and doors shut. Lets keep things cool inside without running a ton of AC. :thumbup:

I'll have to haul out our other window A/C units this week(hopefully mini-splits are coming this year).

Currently 68 on the SW side of Chicago. We'll see mid 70s probably. I could use the rain and hope we get some tomorrow. All that rain that the area got recently and we only collected 0.06". "Hit-and-miss" thunderstorms gave some areas almost 2", while we just got clouds.

If I keep the blinds and curtains drawn on the back side of my house, it stays fairly cool. The thermostat is in the front of the house, so even when the air is running the side that gets the sun is always 5-10 degrees warmer than the thermostat in the livingroom.

Predicted high of 81 with (surprise, surprise) more rain!

No cyclonic activity near us, thankfully.
Just lots and lots and lots and lots of rain.
Still rather be here than have this than 6 mos of snow.

About 14 degrees celcisus (at a guess) though there is a FREEZING cold wind so despite it being sunny, it feels much colder than that!

Typical summer forecast with "thunderstorms possible in the afternoon". But, today the humidity isn't real bad, so I may go outside and do a few things.

We're running our usual 90-91 (32 c) here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.

We had a really hot weekend, like +25C. Today it's snowing. Feels like this weekend was all but a dream. probably the hotest day we'll see this summer. It rarely gets that hot here.

Things are always hot when G is around :O.

I guess it was around 85 in Jackson, MS today - at least it was when I got on the airplane, which replaced the original airplane whose air conditioning was broke. It was probably 83 when I arrived in Memphis an hour and a half late, which resulted in me missing my connection. However, the weather is stormy in Lexington, so Delta cancelled that flight. I'm now waiting to board a flight back to Jackson where the weather is slightly cooler than when I left five hours ago.

10:30 at night, and it's still 81 degrees. (27 c)

Thankfully the humidity is very low. It shouldn't get to be over 74% this week.

AC out, current temp inside is 88, feels a lot cooler ouside.
