The Honeymoon is over. A vent.

Went in to work today to find an old nemesis sitting in the parking lot. Around three or four years ago I was hooked up with this guy, an hvac contractor, and went to work for him. I used to pick him up and drive him all over for work and at the end he stiffed me $750.00.

Long and short, I quit due to him now working at the company. I told them they can come and get their truck. I won't work with him and it's shameful they hire felons. I know he's served time a few times.

Oh well, live and learn.

Good thing about Houston, I've already got three offers on the table within this one last hour, everyone's hiring.

It's all good. In 30 minutes I'm having a phone interview with a company out of Dallas who's expanding down here. They have only one technician here, the owner's son. Exact same thing, same home warranty and same pretty much rate of pay.

Only thing different is I'll be driving a 2010 F250 gasser with a utility bed, not the 2008 4.2 liter v6 F150 I just came out of.

I like big trucks.

Thanks man! Nice friggin' truck although it's a gasser. I think it has 51k miles on it, 2010 and custom fit utility box when the company bought it brand new in Dallas a few years ago. They brought it down specifically for me.

Owner's son who runs Houston has a brand new Sprinter type Nissan service van, loaded.

Good, clean company out of Dallas, been around for going on 30 years now. I can't complain one bit. I'm very happy I left my last company and came here.

Edit: I'm glad I left my last company because they didn't seem to care about what I expected of them, of how my safety was in jeopardy with that convict being there (not sure how American Home Shield will feel about a convicted felon 2 or 3 times over being toted into their customer's homes, I'm sure it won't go over well as they don't allow it at all) or how good of a technician I was with an approximate 99.9% approval rate with all of my customers, some of whom I'll be taking with me, and how time and again I made the company look good and made them money.

None of my excellent and outstanding performance seemed to matter. Screw 'em.

Thanks all. I got me a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Esc Mobile 13 app for field technician connections with the office in another city so I can receive my calls and turn in "paperwork" and monies, got a company phone (creeper, you need this other number too ), gas card and this company offers full health and dental.

This one had better be the one or else. I'm done skipping around, it gets tiresome really quickly.
