Home warranty insurance???

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with home structure warranty insurance? I am thinking about buying a policy for the home I am building that will be for sell. (Long story as to why I am selling it instead of keeping it. Might still keep house, not positive yet.) I think it would be an excellent selling point. I have only hired licensed subcontractors and their work should be insured by them. I have asked for liability and workmans' comp. insur. certificates. But, I was thinking "just in case" I should buy structure insurance. Is there any insurance out there that will also cover stuff like electrical and plumbing?

First off, it's NOT a PROBLEM he has . As the poster said, he was comtemplating it.

Second, he NEVER said he needed Insurance Quotes.

Third,a Newbi first poster inviting another poster to get insurance quotes. ..
Sounds definitely like a sales pitch to me....

Home warranty insurance???

No, I didn't need a link to get price quotes...
I've got an offer that I'm considering already on the table. I was just wondering if a structure warranty is something that many builders buy. In New Mexico, the structure of a residential building is the responsibility of the builder for 10 years.

Home warranty insurance???

In Oklahoma, generally 1 year..and that is if it goes to court. Most builders are more ethical then that anyway.

IMO, most problems with a new home will occur in the first year...matter of fact, except for driveways cracking, I haven't seen any problems appear after the 1st year that was related to the builder.
