Hate it? Love it?

The attic! Reminds me of the time we sent my son (grown) up there to check something and then his girlfriend and I forgot and moved the stepladder so we could look at paint colors in the hallway, then we decided to go outside and forgot to put the ladder back. We were just sitting under the shade tree talking and couldn't figure out why he came out an hour or so later so sweaty, red-faced and mad, yelling "Who moved the ****** ladder?! Oops!

I didn't exactly look forward to it, but it was one of the jobs I didn't mind too much when I built this house. Taping and mudding was actually kind of fun, the sanding....not so much. But as I got the feel of it, there was less and less sanding needed. I DID enjoy running wires and installing the electric fixtures/outlets/panel/breakers etc. Even working with all 12g wire. Flooring is always a joy too, as well as any other job you can see big differences quickly as you go. The tedious chores like baseboards and trim that the wife doesn't even notice after working all day are the ones that get to ME. Painting is fun too. Texturing is not too bad.... although both painting and texturing can be messy if you're not careful and you'll waste time cleaning up drips and spills.
Don't like attics OR crawl spaces though. Even as clean as mine are, it's still uncomfortable crawling around.
