What do you mean "don't eat to much food" are you anti holidays or something?

I wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving! Especially our service men and women who can't be home with their families. Stay safe and THANK YOU for doing what you do.

Scuba Dave, I'll be sealing my mom's attic this weekend, getting it ready to be insulated. Last year at this time I was working on my own attic. Glad that's done!

Yup, happy turkey day you all. I'm enjoying my last weekend of being a husband and not a father....In about a week we'll have twin boys keeping us busy for the next 20 years or so!

Gobble, gobble, gobble.

kctermite! Twins! What a great life changing event to be looking forward to. Congrats.

gma2rjc! To the troops who cannot be home indeed! Hope they are at least in a place where they can have a cooked and not canned dinner.

And let's not forget to think, for at least a moment about all those, even in the US, who have lost their homes for reasons we really dare not guess or claim to understand until we have been there.

As you approach Black Friday with shopping frenzy. Think also about giving a little bit to charity? You can deduct the philanthropy off your taxes, not the spending excess! I can tell you which will make you feel the best.

I used to live on airplanes. Every year around this time I would give away all the bonus miles I earned to the Miles for Kids or other similar programs. My employers paid for them, not me. Quite an anonymous thing I suppose, but somehow my tickets at major airlines, when I present my frequent travel cards, are treated a bit different than those around me at the same time to this day.

Not saying the airlines or Santa keeps track of who is naughty or nice. Who could possibly believe that sort of nonsense?
