Got a couple quotes for gas furnace

We were looking at the 95% efficiency so we could get the max tax credit. Had a couple of quotes from some local HVAC companies for the carrier infinity series Tried to do some research online for the model numbers and got very little info back from google. One was 58mvc080-14 and the other was mvc080-114

Both were quoted at around 4500 installed with humidifier and 4 inch air cleaner. I believe they are both 3 speed variable blowers. Does this seem like a decent price for these models? Again, im not even sure how different these 2 models are. There are hundreds upon hundreds of different models and im guessing the differences are minute but perhaps someone in the know here might be able to help. Thanks

getting a frunace qoute without dealing with all the bull is a pain isn't it.
I still have contractors calling me non-stop wanting to give me bids but won't do it until I close on the house.
I can't even get a general price.
I ended up having my GC have his guy do it and it was all rolled in to the lump sum for the remod job.
I just posted about the central air for 3700 bucks so i'm guessing that's an ok furnace price.
I understand that they can't get specific but they could at least give me a basic price for a furnace based on the size of my house you would think!!
It's terrible that you always feel like your getting ripped off.

Thats a VS blower, VS blowers aren't listed as 2, 3, or 4 speed. Just as VS.

Price varies by area, And each individual install/application.
