I fail to see why you guys are fiercely anything other than utterly disappointed over a second rate wanna be immitation R.E.M. over the hill girls church chorus. You do need a spanking, set you straight once and for all, set you American.

Here, get the real stuff, only in AMERICA!

I don't suppose this cover version of the great Canadian Leonard Cohen's song got much airtime in your own country, did it??

Are all Canadians not a fan of proper English or is it just yourself?

An REM fan, my dear heart.

And you can like him, doesn't bother me a bit. He's more your age anyways, over the hill.

Hold on A minute there kiddo..
The proper use of A or An is determined by whether or not the next word starts with a vowel or not.

I love the way Michael dances.

I am at a loss to express my diappointment in you. The border guards will surely not allow you to cross over after that blasphemous
and treacherous statement about our beloved Gord Downey.

And (don't tell me not to begin a sentence with and)

this will never, ever be me

Just so you know, Canadians do not refer to the US as America, because we are just as much North American as you are. We call your country The States.

Yankee or Yank is a person from the US regardless of where in the states you are from.

Here are some rules on being Canadian

Words like labor, color, neighbor...all have a u

the letter z is pronounced zed and not zee

fin..is five dollars

chocolate bar is what you call a candy bar

pop..is soda

homo milk .is whole milk

lcbo is where you buy booze

toque is a hat

you put vinegar on your chips (fries)

tortiere is a meat pie

You are an Anglophone if your first language is English and a Francophone if it is French

Frog is a derogatory term for an Anglophone

chesterfield is a couch

Shinny is a game of pick up hockey where you just show up and start playing

-20c feels a little chilly

You think the Tragically Hip are amazing

By the way Doc, it is incorrect to say anyways. Anyway is never plural.

Are all Canadians hard of hearing or just yourself, Grandma? R is AHHH is the A is the vowel, such as the word "ARE". My mother is British (her brother is in Toronto, the only reason I have not dropped a nuke on you yet) and has corrected my English since I was in the womb. You are horribly, terribly, catastrophically, and worse yet, publicly wrong on this, Dear Heart.
