well, the place down the road that dropped it 3 cents the other day, went from $4.22 up to $4.35 today, doesn't seem right but its the same for us all, it just keeps going up. both me and the wife have short commutes to work so can't complain much but I am wondering about next year's oil prices.

Hey, thanks a lot!

My bike has a couple of flat tires, and it needs a good going over. I live about 3 miles from work, so the distance is no problem. I am thinking about buying one of those scooters. I doubt I can find a good used one though. They are probably cheap chinese junk. With things as they are, I really can't afford to purchase something like this right now. Its a pain just to pay the bills...if you know what I mean.

I'm jealous of the under $4 price, been sitting around $4.29 for a bit here, kinda concerned that the price of fuel oil delivered last week was $4.69 a gallon.

Today I paid $3.89. Tomorrow, my wife will take her $0.12 discount coupon from the grocery store to fill up.

Our taxes are really too low to keep the roads in good repair. Everytime someone gets a car with better mileage there is less money to fix things since the money for is based on the number of gallons. Thanks to the people with gas hogs (worse than my little Jimmy) that drive a lot, there is some money for some repairs.

We've got $4.299 for 89 octane name brand and maybe down to $4.099 at the other stations. My area is just north of Boston.
My job is relocating so I've got a 60 mile commute each way so I need to buy a new car within the next 2 months. I'm strongly considering the CNG Honda GX. The equivalent gas price for natural gas is $2.799.
I'm disappointed that new cars still only gt 35 MPG at best. What have the car companies been doing for the last 20 years?
