I've just come to a screeching halt! My electrician became (hospital) sick last week. The new "last minute no notice guy" said Tue, then today and now tomorrow "for sure". We'll see.

Christmas next week, my customer has out of town family and the grand kids staying from Christmas Eve till New Years. They said I can work (interior) but I don't think so.

I should have bought a plane ticket!

The only rush I have is the basement toilet needs to be working before family arrives. No problem with that and they'er OK with what will be a "privacy tarp finish" as long as the stool works.

Sorry to hear that Rusty. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Btw, It's nice that you're helping the customer out by looking for someone else to do the job. I'm sure they appreciate it.

I really just need to completely retire. But I still enjoy installing.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I love the work I was doing and wish like crazy I could get back out there and do it again but that is just not going to happen. If you do retire, by all means stay active any way you can, just sitting around makes a person hurt worse.
