I thought I would bump my own post as there have been some new registered users here that I would like to know how they came up with their username.

robin303. My 1st name and 303 was the last 3 of my tail number of my OH-58 which I had for 2 yrs and was shot down. Took over 7 months to get it back in the air. That day I ate breakfast with 4 buddies and in less than 45 min they were all dead.

I used to be a commercial diver, and I was on this big underwater welding job in the far north of Australia (Weipa, for anyone who knows the Cape region!). Therefore, "Diver Doug" became like a call sign while I was there (both for underwater and above the water) and it just kinda stuck with me...
Diver Doug

"Thurman", because, well-it's my middle name and for some reason years ago close friends and family would call me THURMAN!, when they wanted my attention-fast. With a first name like David, why wouldn't they just say DAVID! PEOPLE! Who understands them? Thanks, David
You can call me David, you can call me Thurman, but just don't call me--late for dinner!

Or, as they say in Showbiz. "It doesn't matter if you say something good or bad about me. Just Spell my name right".
