Well, mine is pretty easy.I'm from England and limey comes from world war 2,it was a nickname given to English soldiers, most people think their given nickname for their country is racial now, which I think is silly,I just like the name limey,no offense to me,and my name is Sylvia but always called Sylv. The 1 is because there was already a limeysylv on anoher site,I was stunned,no it was'nt me, 1st time used name.

Hobb3s - is from Calvin & Hobbes (love the strip) & Thomas Hobbes (share the same bday), I started using it back over 20 yrs ago in the infancy of the internet as my handle. The 3 is a little insurance that the name is usually available for all the sites I sign up for.

Actually, my father gave me the nickname based on the cartoon in the '60s when I was four.

Clutch Cargo used to Rock! watched that toon everyday after school, watched it on you tube the other day and man it does'nt seem the same.

Maybe 40 years does makes a diff?

Mine is from a 2 week stint of cleaning evapator coils for AC units in a large student housing complex, the maintenance man called me Evapman after that.

Clutch Cargo employed the Syncro-Vox technique by superimposing live-action human lips over limited-motion animation or even motionless animation cels.

My daughter's nickname is Punky Poohead. She loves it. Her sister just calls her Punky for short. And since I don't really have a nickname, I claimed Punky Poo for my screen name.

Even though I am 34, I look younger. One of my three tenants dubbed me the "Land Girl". It's a lot more fitting than "Land Lady" or "Land Lord".

I have a touch of Peter Pan syndrome.

My nickname.. Hmmm.. It's a long story.

When signing up for my account here, I thought to myself, "what moniker will best represent my true self on the internets, whilst also hiding my real identity?"

I decided upon my first name and last initial, just to baffle all of you! Man, am I clever.

That's how they do it up in Canada..

After several runs finally they gets arrested at the boarder. In jail they are visited by a lawyer with a French translator.
Lawyer: We have confiscated your car and all its contents
Translator: Nous avons confisqué votre voiture et tout son contenu
Lawyer: You may leave Canada but never return
Translator: Vous pouvez quitter le Canada mais ne jamais retourner
Lawyer: I am a big fat french idiot
Translator: Je suis un grand gros ... hey
