Error trying to post

I'm new to the forum and am having issues posting. I have a valid account and am logged in. I've also read the how to post tutorial.

When I try to submit a new thread I get an error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/diychatr/public_html/includes/functions_search.php on line 196

I notified the admin via a Contact Us link but haven't heard anything. If it matters I use Safari on a Mac running 10.8.1

You posted here just fine. Were you trying to upload a photo as well?

Do you get this error when trying to post a pic?

If so, these two threads may help.

How to attach a photo to a post

How To Post Photos Using PhotoBucket Or Flickr

Edited to add: I guess I'm just too slow. Gosh you guys are fast!

Error trying to post

I broke my post into two separate posts and it worked okay. Must have been too long.
