Do you think this guy is having customer service issues?

saw this today while driving down the road, had to stop and snap a pic! I think it's safe to assume he's not happy with his Pella windows!

If you ask him, he may tell you that the company sent someone to his house who fixed all 16 windows and he's happy as a Lark now.

But probably not.

I wonder if it is windows or the installation method that is causng the leaking?
Are they flashed and sealed?

That is the question!!!

I bet Pella is putting it on the installers and the installers are putting it on Pella!

and if so, the guy better be sure it is the windows. If it is the install, I see a defamation suit by Pella in the making.

No defamation at all. He says his Pella windows are leaking and they probably are. The banner doesn't say the windows are defective. You have to wonder what preceded that banner. I agree with the poster who suggested that Pella blamed the installer and the installer blamed the windows. Getting a Pella recommended installer might have limited that debate.

if the windows are not leaking and it is the surrounding flashing, etc, yes there is defamation as the windows are not leaking and the banner clearly states they are which means that poster injures Pella unjustly.

.So? It says the windows are leaking. That implies that Pella makes an inferior window that leaks whether defective or not. So, if the windows are not leaking, that is a prima facia case of defamation.

I think this guy will legally be okay with his use of "Ask me about..." in his banner. He can claim that had you asked him, he would have clarified that it was the installation of the windows and not the windows themselves. That phrase implies there is more to the story.

I do have to say; they look quite nice in the picture though.

I would love to hear the back story on this.

Hey chips/ is this some lake area with pricey homes? The look very close and the 3 story build reminds me of a lot of lake properties I know of.

I disagree but since I am not an attorney and the one we had posting regularly seems to have taken a break from posting and I don't really want to argue anyway, since Chips posted this and it does say to ask; how about Chips stopping by and asking about the windows?
