Do You Have Pets?

I have 3 dogs. A 8 year old beagle/shepherd mix, a 7 year old Dachshund, and a 2 year old Saint Bernard. Will have to get some photos up here

I have a shih tzu going on 12 years old. I love that little guy. He's got the appetite of a hungry lion, but he's a gentle, loving dog.

I had never liked small dogs before until I got him.

Personally I've got a dog, three cats and an axolotl (which is boring as heck )

Two of my cats are female (sisters) and one of them is a lot younger male. Believe me, he's kept in check more than he'd like to! Perhaps it's all for the best. He loves chasing bouncing balls and fetches everything I throw for him.

He usually just hides in the back of the aquarium and never shows himself to anyone. It'd be the most boring sushi you've ever had.

My Bearded Dragon, Blaze

My Staff, Dakota. He is 7 years old.
Before we moved, he loved the Guinea pig.

Sebby is a Pitbull that adopted us. He wandered onto the inlaws property when we where there and wouldnt leave so here we are lol

My latest addiction is my fish tank. Ive had this a little over a year, started stocking a year ago and planting about 6 months ago. Its not done yet but she's getting there.

THis is the last full tank shot I took, ive removed a couple of the plants to the right and added an amazon sword which will move to the back soon

My German Blue Ram's are some of my favourites in the tank

Ive got German Blue Ram, Angel's, Corys, Bamboo Shrimp, Neon Tetra, Black Skirt Tetra and Albino Pleco's in it.

I used to keep a lot of aquariums - then I had children. I loved freshwater planted aquariums the most. If you really want your plants to pop (in appearance), put a black background on the tank. It not only hides the clutter of the equipment behind it, but really makes colors stand out more than other colored or patterned backgrounds.

I liked the oceanvisions backgrounds, because they stuck to the glass and you wouldn't have to re-tape or get drips between the background and glass. Probably available more places, but here is a link:
http://www.thatpetplace.com/crystal-...ons-background

Here's a picture of my main tank from back in the day, I have since sold all my tanks and equipment. [EDIT for details: this is a 46g bowfront aquarium, all live plants, eco-complete substrate, 2x CO2 reactors, lots of lighting. Fish during it's prime were about a dozen Rainbows, of varying variety, but also had other things over the 7 years it ran like Clown Loaches (my favorite), killifish, albino corys, silver mollys, and always bristlenose plecos.]

Here is our only pet, Murphy. We've had him since he was 11 weeks old, he'll be 6 in August.

We got him from a farm, where is mother was a chocolate lab farm dog. His father was a Black Lab; Grand Master Hunting Retriever. I don't hunt, so he has never been. He is a family dog, who loves tennis balls to no end, going for walks, jumping in the pool, and riding in my truck. Unfortunately about a year ago his right hip started to bother him after a lot of playing, so we've had to take it easy with him. Whenever he has a full day of play/exercise he limps around pretty-bad, which is sad because that's his favorite thing to do.

Do You Have Pets?

I thought about a blue or black background when it was too late, stocked and filled.

Is it hard to put on after the fact ? Its a tight space.

Oh no, you can put it on after the fact. That's why I preferred it to painting. You'll probably have to pull off the equipment, but as long as you can fit a squeegee back there, you can apply it.

Do You Have Pets?

1 dog but raised my brother inlaws when he was finishing up his army stint. he decided 6 or so months before he was out that he needed a dog, they don't allow dogs on the barracks. and 2 cats.

Pedro the 10 year old Golden. Best dog ever. Sleeps with us or guards my sons door at night. Guards the front door when we are gone. 122#'s

Vincent the 1.5 year old American Bulldog. I get one of his pups for payment for "fostering" him. 75#s

Sargent the 14 year old orange tabby. Friendliest cat you will ever meet. Sleeps on my daughters bed every night and follows her around. Missing most of his teeth and can only eat soft food. Thought he was going to pass a few years ago, you would never be able to tell with the 10Pm hallway running and fighting Macy.

Macy the 14 year old gray tabby. A present to my now wife. Only likes 3 people. Sleeps with us, under our bed, or ironically next to Pedro.
