Jim: I'm sorry if my openness startles you. I don't mean to shock you or to look for sympathy. I wear my thoughts and feeling on my sleeve for the world to see. I never did learn to not just say it how I see it. I just blow off steam from time to time and never let stuff fester inside.

Although we all need to lean on someone sometimes, I'm very happy in the life I've carved out for myself, especially since I left him. It was definitely for the best and I haven't looked back in all these years, not even once.
I just try and tolerate his presence as best I can because he remains a part of the kids lives.
Jeez, there I go again

Don't apologize--There is nothing wrong with looking at the future and not looking back at the past--

What once was --is exactly that---Enjoy--pour that glass of wine and fire up the grill--

Thanks friend,
The apology is because sometimes I think I say too much..it can scare people, lol I'm really just a simple person and not all that complex.

But I like to have fun and the future is bright..I'm optimistic

Press away!

Yesterday at the Craft Forum, a spammer posted 27 times with all the same information in each one. I think it took him some time though because normally they put the spammy links into their signature so that they only have to type it once. He didn't do that. So he spent a lot of time typing each of the links into each post. First time I've seen anyone do that, but knowing he put a lot of time and effort into spamming us made it that much nicer deleting his posts and banning him. Wait, did I say that? ....

Barb

"DIY" - cooking/baking - story

Last night I had to go out to work for a few hours and when I returned people who should have been in bed announced they went for a late swim instead. The pool is out the side door.

Sometimes I lock my doors at bedtime, but never any other time. not even when I go out. I don't even know if I know where the key is.

This morning I woke up to the side door wide open. Fully wide open. Now thats going too far. In another thread we were concerned about rats and snakes coming in a water pit. I'm just glad there wasn't a deer or coyote or skunk standing in the family room. I'm surprised we didn't fill up with mosquitos.

There will be no point in chatting to the swimmers about this, no one will own it or they will blame each other as the last one in. Guess I should've checked the doors as well.

"THE OTHER SIDE"???
Huh?? WHAT????
You mean -
North vs. South -
East vs. West -
Up vs. Down -
Over by here vs. Over by dere -
Left vs. Right??
(I always felt sorry for "Left" - Right is "Right" - "Left" is left -
"left-out")!
What "Other Side" are you talking about???
Surely: not, the Dredded, "Dark Side"?!?!
OMG!!
Creeper - use the "Force"!!
(Or, the "Farce")
If you want to!!!!
(What the heck is a "bitc*") ???
"Wuv" you too!! Kid!!

Ross:
I'm totally kidding too. With me, what you see is what you get. Whether you like it or not

But I'm not kidding about what I think he'd say about me, although he'd be wrong as usual.

Who cares about what "he'd" say about you!?!
I did see the pictures of you in the "National Enquirer", though!
I like how they "blacked-out" your eyes!!
Do you really look that "cute"!?!

If you mean because I said I like to have fun that is funny and the future is bright and I'm optimistic, then yes. I believe we have to make our own fun and find pleasure in the small things. Its no good being grumpy. It doesn't change anything and it eats you up inside.

For instance, I get great pleasure getting together with the ladies in my book club once every 5 or 6 weeks. Sounds boring, but not to me. My kids look at me like I'm growing a horn. Book reports?? for fun???
But what do you do there?? Talk about books??
Mom's a weirdo
