Way to go creeper! Maybe you'll be able to find different houses for the other two customers too!

Thanks Barb,
Its a sellers market here. I could have been on fire this winter/spring. The buyers have been out in droves and there is very little inventory, in my area anyway. The only reason that particular property sat for so long is because it is on a busy highway and the price didn't reflect that huge defect.
Just got an email from my mortgage guy...interest rates are on the rise on the 29th of this month. The states are recovering faster than predicted. Time to refinance and lock in to these historic lows.

Hello!
Hello!
Hello!
Hello!
Hello!
Hello!
Hello!
Do you hear an echo?
This thread has been awfully quiet.
No new or old recipes to share? Has anyone been doing any grilling with all this nice weather?
When bacon goes on sale again (if?) I'm going to try canning some. I just found out it 'can' be done, so I have to experiment with it. It doesn't sound all that appetizing, but it's supposed to be tasty once it's fried in a pan after taking it out of the jar.
The other day I opened a few jars of the chicken vegetable soup I canned last summer and cooked it up for dinner with some dumplings on top. It needed a little salt & pepper and a bay leaf while it cooked, but other than that it turned out pretty good.

Hi Barb, I missed you !!!!
Been really busy. Some days they are lucky if they get anything at all to eat
Homemade chicken veg sounds good, but I'm afraid I'm a little skeptical about the bacon. Just curious now, Barb and I don't mean to be rude, but even if you could get past the look of it, what would be the point? The nitrates in the bacon and the vac packaging already give it a long shelf life. Plus there is always the freezer.

Speaking of pig..A guy a few houses around the corner, has a pet pig that he keeps in the house. I'm not even joking. Its not a cute little vietnamese pot bellied one either. Its this huge black thing he calls Boss Hog.
Speaking of gross... one day as my dog and I were walking past, we stopped to meet this pet. Buddy was very proud to tell me how smart his pet is and how he lets this animal sleep in his bed
I don't know about the rest of you, but my king size bed is not big enough to share with a dog let alone a farm animal.
Ok so every creature drinks water and what goes in must come out, I get that, but at least my pet lifts his leg far apart so as not to get any on himself.
Boss Hog had to go and it just drippled all down his legs and onto his feet.
Conversation came to an abrupt end. I hope he changes his sheets a couple of times a day.
What a pig!

Now that is pretty sick right there, there is no way I wouldn't even let one of them things in the house let along sleep in my bed, my stars,.. maybe he was using the pig to stay warm.
We have been watching a bunch of cooking shows, I like the ones where the little Chinese fellow cooks outside. He sure likes spicy food.
I finally got out to the shop and am doing a little whittling right now. I whittled a spatula out of cherry and a large wooden spoon out of bass wood, now I am working on a ladle, I love to whittle and do wood carving.

One night I was walking home from a friends (no drinking and driving even if it is close) and it was really dark. I forgot about this black pig.
I heard this rustling and snuffling...I didn't know I could still run so fast

There's really no good reason to can bacon (or more people would be doing it?) but I'm curious about it. I have to try making a couple jars of it just to see how it turns out. I kind of think that, after opening the jar and frying the strips, it could end up having the texture of turkey bacon or worse. I watched a youtube video about it and the person never really said much about the texture after it was canned. But I'm going to try it anyway. I'll let you know how it comes out.

It's very likely that I will never even have another cat in my house, partly because of certain smells. But a PIG? No way. In my bed? No way. Not even the pot bellied pigs. No pigs of any size, not even cute little piglets. Not even Babe or Charlotte's friend Wilbur. I know they are 'clean animals', but they're only cute outside. I have seen people on tv who have pigs or horses in their house and their houses look clean, but without smellivision technology, who knows!?

Whew! You got lucky creeper. Four points!!!? That would have been a lot. Not to mention what it will do to your car insurance rates... if your insurance agent finds out.
When I was going to college (back in my youth), I got pulled over for having a loud muffler. A loud muffler? That's ridiculous - there was no muffler on the car, so it couldn't have been the muffler. It was broken off the bottom of the car when I ran over a peach tree stump in my parents yard. But the cop was nice and let me go, without even giving me a repair & report ticket.
