disconnect ac
I am currently renovating my basement and my lines for the ac do not run high enough so i can put a t-bar ceiling in the basement. I am also regrading my lot so I thought this would be a good time to put the unit on a bracket or just place it on a pad. How much would the disconnect and reconnect cost. Please say where you live and what the the hour wage is for the journeyman. Any info would be appreticated.

This is not completely in theme with DIY. So moved to Off Topic forum.

Looking at $500ish here to disconnect, move, reconnect and vacuum pump existing freon lines. Shop rates are $84 an hour per lead man and $65 for a helper.
