The Dick Act of 1902

“Is moving an option for you. It doesn't sound like a very nice place to live your life.”

Why should someone have to move.
This is about our rights.
This is no different then the government telling you what you can eat or not eat.
This is no different then the government is taking your kids at birth, because some people are not capable of raising their kids.
People from other countries have no rights to be in our business!

The American Revolutionary War (1775–1783), The War of 1812
Did not want the British then and don't want them now!

The Dick Act of 1902

Moving? Why should I have to move. Maybe a gun free zone? I would be safe there? I am not going anywhere I like my life here in Cleveland, it is my home. I am more than able to protect myself and family should the need arise. As for what is tyranny~ http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tyranny.

I agree with you rusty, I don't own a gun, but would fight for the right of others to own one.
This where we see things differently. I don't see a gun as a defensive weapon except for the military. I see a gun as a tool for hunting.
As a defensive weapon I completely see your point.

That's the whole point. The gun debate in this country isn't about hunting. It's about the 2nd amendment. Being able to protect ones self and family. When we lose the second amendment we'll lose the rest of them in short order. Tyranny.

What is our current government doing that is an act of tyranny??
(Maybe, something specific?)
(Not a general definition of tyranny.)
What?

Defensive weapon?!?
I don't want an "Assault Rifle" - I can think of better things.

Woo them with your charm? And enough with the "assault
weapon" thing. Totally made up term. Progressive left I believe.
I don't know what makes people think "their way or the highway".
You don't want a gun, good for you, don't get one. But have some
respect for those of us that do.

"Woo them with my charm"?
I'm very charming!!
Other things.

Respect for other people?
Tell me where I've shown dis-respect for someone???
We're just trying to discuss this issue.
So - I don't completely, agree with someone - so, that means I don't have respect for them!?!
(Notice - I said "completely"!)
Nonsense!
Just because I don't completely, agree with someone -
don't mean, I don't have respect for them, or what they think!
Where did I show disrespect for someone!??!
Huh?!?

Not rational people. There's a clear
difference between and assault rifle and what the news media
would have them believe.

Im sure you are.

You haven't shown disrespect. Wasn't necessarily speaking to you.
This issue is being hotly debated on each side and frankly Im tired of being
portrayed as some kind "gober" that needs my semi-auto for bringing home
tonight's possum dinner.

Gotta run!

I just want to see if we can have a discussion about something -
That, doesn't deteriorate -
Something that's important - that's on a lot of people's minds.

I don't think anybody would refer to you as a "goober"!
Most of us - ain't that way.

Peace!

Don't need no guns to get possum! We just go up to the road and get fresh roadkill every day!
