Crazy weather???

Some 250,000 are without power today as a result. And the weight of the ice is causing more lines to snap. I bought a kerosene heater in anticipation of a loss of furnace. Which luckily hasn't happened for us yet. But, even though the disclaimer states its safe to use indoors, I am now second guessing the toxicity of the fumes.

Not to mention the stink. Anybody have one??

Crazy weather???

I saw those earlier too. Brother-in-law grew up in Montreal and apparently freezing rain is common. Before it was La Nino, or El Nino or whatever the heck was messing up the weather. Now it is Lake Effects or just being in North America effect.

Yuri, just watched the news. minus 51 yes that's -51 coming to your town tomorrow. Exposed skin will frostbite in a minute, maybe two. That ought to kill off some of those mosquito's

My parents were raised in Winnipeg.

Well....some good news for me. My trip to Winnipeg has been delayed until sometime in Feb. maybe it will be in the high -10's by then
